Chongqing University of Arts and Sciences (CUAS) is a full-time general undergraduate institution of higher education sponsored by the Chongqing Municipal People's Government, a national language standardization demonstration school, a garden-style unit in Chongqing, a high-level new engineering construction university in Chongqing, and the first batch of national innovation and entrepreneurship universities. In 2021, CUAS was approved as a master's degree-granting unit. Founded in 1965, Chongqing Polytechnic University of Electronic Technology (CQUET) is a public undergraduate vocational university.
