Since 2015, CCIBE has been admitting international students and offers higher education programs for international students, including Degree Programs at undergraduate (4-year) and Non-degree Programs (6-12 months, Chinese language learning programs), as well as short-term exchange programs . CCIBE is a designated institution for the Chongqing Municipal People's Government Foreign Student Mayor's Scholarship Program, and also provides school-level scholarships to outstanding international students.
In recent years, CCIBE has admitted about 100 new international students each year, 30% of whom are degree-seeking students. Currently, more than 100 international students from over 20 countries studying on campus.
Currently，CCIBE has two categories of scholarships, the Chongqing Municipal Government Mayor Scholarship and the President's Scholarship of Chongqing College of International Business and Economics.The Mayor's Scholarship has limited quota and is awarded to outstanding students based on their applications. The President's Scholarship is divided into three grades, with the first grade awarding RMB 12,000, the second grade RMB 8,000 , and the third grade RMB 6,000. Students in their second to fourth year can apply.
