Chongqing Three Gorges Vocational College is a full-time public higher education institution organized by the Chongqing Municipal Government and supervised by the Chongqing Municipal Education Commission. The college was founded in 1936 and was formed by the merger of Chongqing Wanxian Agricultural School and Chongqing Three Gorges Agricultural Machinery School in 2003. The college is located in Wanzhou District, Chongqing, covering an area of more than 800 mu, and has two campuses, Longbao and Salon. There are 9 secondary colleges, offering 45 majors, and over 13800 students on campus. We have established 1 national high-level professional group, 3 municipal high-level professional groups, 4 national backbone majors, 7 municipal backbone majors, 3 modern apprenticeship pilot majors of the Ministry of Education, and 4 municipal demonstration majors. The degree of compatibility between professional settings and national strategies and Chongqing's pillar industries reaches 98.5%. The college's educational and teaching reform has achieved significant results, winning 8 national and municipal teaching achievement awards, 12 national "13th Five Year" and "14th Five Year" planning textbooks, 1 national high-quality online open course, 2 "Famous Teachers and Famous Courses" provided by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs for rural revitalization, 6 municipal high-quality online open courses, and 8 municipal first-class courses. Participated in the teacher teaching ability competition and won 6 national awards. The college currently has over 590 faculty and employees, with over 150 high-level talents with associate or higher professional titles and doctoral degrees.
