Chongqing Business Vocational College was founded in 1962. It is a full-time public higher education college organized by the Chongqing Municipal Government and jointly built by the Municipal Commerce Commission and the Municipal Education Commission. It is a high-quality higher vocational college in Chongqing and a high-level higher vocational college in Chongqing. It is the National High-Skilled Talent Training Base, National Exemplary Employee Education and Training Base, World Skills Competition Baking and Western Food Project China Training Base, Chongqing Business Talent Training Base, Chongqing Catering High-Skilled Talent Training Base, Chongqing Printing and Packaging Vocational Education and Training Base, Chongqing International Leading Service Talent Training Base.
