Chongqing Nursing Vocational College is an non-profitable ordinary higher vocational college, established upon the approval by Chongqing Municipal People’s Government, and registered by National Ministry of Education (Code: 14576), under supervision by Chongqing Education Commission. It is solely funded by the First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University. It is the member of Chongqing High-level Professional Education Group, the only member of High-level Professional Education in Nursing in Chongqing.
The college adheres to the guidance of high-quality CPC-building for high-quality development, with the main task of cultivating high-quality technical and skilled nursing and health service talents. It actively utilizes the rich resources of "1+4+17+5" in medical care, maintenance and teaching of the First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University, and innovates the integrated education system of "treatment, care, education, rehab, care" in talent cultivation, and integrates "medical care, education, and health care" in education. The academic development is characterized by "elderly plus young", catering to the urgent demand for talents in the entire life cycle of the health industry.
